Sports play a crucial role in the development of the Nyarushanje community within the Rubirizi Archdeaconry, impacting the eight local churches: Karukaata, Rubirizi, Ibanda, Nyamabare, Rwere, Katobotobo, Musyana, and Kabuga. Through mobilizing over 10,000 youth, this sports evangelism initiative fosters teamwork and discipline while encouraging healthy lifestyles. With successful participation in tournaments, many youths earn sports scholarships to prestigious schools, such as Kyamakanda in Entebbe, enabling them to pursue their academic dreams.
