RYEF CONSERVE THE ENVIRONMENT project plays a crucial role in fostering a sustainable future for communities, and Ryef Ministries has taken significant steps to promote this importance. Through various activities such as tree planting and fruit tree distribution, they have engaged local schools like Karukaata Primary and Ibanda Primary schools, along with the surrounding communities. These initiatives not only enhance the local environment but also educate pupils about the value of maintaining greenery. Students are encouraged to plant an additional five fruit trees and receive a reward of 1000 shillings for each tree that is well-kept every (3) three months. we managed to distribute 600-700 fruit trees that include Avocadoes, mangoes, guavas, oranges among other indigenous fruit trees This approach not only instills a sense of responsibility in the young learners but also reinforces the significance of environmental stewardship within the community, fostering a culture of conservation that benefits both people and the planet.
